the dogs got new shirts for christmas.

i went up to visit my parents and my lil' brother came too. it was all fun and games until the power went out. thank god my dad had made some coffee in the wee hours of the morning before we lost the juice. there was a rainstorm and it blew down all sorts of tree branches and debris.

i went out to ride my bike, since that is an electricity-free activity. i rode over to my grandma's house to check on her. she had no power either, but she was in bed. sleeping: you don't need electricity for that. when i came home, lo and behold, the lights were on. hallelujah. time to get on the computer...
